Where is the heart?
So I watched the game at Jillian’s (near East lake in Seattle) with Dave, Ali, and Emily this last Sunday. This was a painful game to watch-the Seahawks played the New Orleans Saints and lost 17-28. I was embarrassed for my team because we seemed to just be overwhelmed, making bad decisions, and playing with NO HEART. They didn’t seem to care if they won or lost, they were just playing AWFUL! And Coach Holmgren is not on top of his game-last year the Hawks could adjust, but this year they are having a hard time doing that. I think that Hasselbeck isn’t actually doing too bad, but Shaun Alexander is making me very angry (what does he think he is getting paid him to do???). I think we need to stop being so timid and just be unmerciful already-besides maybe Julian Peterson…no one has really got the “winning” attitude. Get it together!!!!
With all my complaining said…I have high hopes that we can turn this around, show the league that we are contenders and not a joke (everyone thinks the NFC west is a joke). We play the Rams who are 0-4 this Sunday and I DEARLY hope that we don’t continue to give out first wins (like we did with the Saints). I will watch and wait. I am watching the Seahawks/Rams with Lynne, Ali, and Emily somewhere downtown this Sunday. GO HAWKS!
