Ouch, that one hurt! Steelers 21-Seahawks 0.
Last Sunday’s game was HORRIBLE! Well at least the game was…I got to my friend Amanda’s house around 10 and they had a great breakfast spread going-breakfast casserole, sausages dipped in pancake batter (and then fried-never had before-was delicious!), and mimosas (champagne and OJ) which helped ease the pain of this game ha ha (not really).
Amanda’s husband was the lone Steelers fan out of the 15 people there-and he definitely earned his bragging rights that day. The Steelers just outplayed us, they were slippery, fast (especially Ward) and it didn’t help that the Steelers had possession of the ball for almost the entirety of the second half (Steelers 24:53 min-Seahawks 5:07 min). Shaun Alexander only ran for 25 yards (yup that is our running back) and Matt Hasselbeck overthrew his receivers WAY too much. I was so disappointed I can’t even express it. We just got shut out and just played terrible. It was like our team forgot how to play! I’d like to move on from this embarrassment-but I have to say I am getting pretty concerned.
And to top it off-Mack Strong is out FOR GOOD! During the first half he left because of a spinal cord injury and doctors say if he wants to recover that he needs to stop playing now. He was 36 (that is like ancient in football!) and I just thought it was awesome that he was fullback named Mack Strong-such a great name for a fullback! I am going to get a jersey in his honor-cause he was an amazing player and I know that his presence will be missed for sure.
I may be getting tickets for next weeks home game Seahawks vs Saints-so hopefully I will get to report on a live game. Hopefully we can get it together already!!!!

You were awesome Mack!
